Ebay's Feedback Profile

Since Ebay are so nice enough to allow buyers and sellers an opportunity to leave each other feedback it would only be fair that we give our feedback to Ebay. Please post your feedback about Ebay here

" If Ebay had their own feedback, they'd have to suspend themselves! "

eBay sucks big time. Ever since Meg Whitman left the company, there's a bunch of stupid bureaucrats running the company and all they know is to protect the few, not customers who are like myself, sellers as well as buyers of eBay. eBay now disallow seller to leave negative or neutral feedbacks. How's that? That will only allow irresponsible buyers to bid and not pay. How stupid this can be. There's only one way and it is down for eBay. So eBay...ou suck big time. People are leaving you for good. My account got suspended INDEFINITELY because I sold digital items. I have made numerous appeals but they seem to have fallen on deaf ears. It's like getting an auto response "your account has been suspended indefinitely". I am totally pissed off. eBay will be bankrupt!!!

i quit selling on ebay because they cant protect me for this guy online arnulfo moreno. the guys was a fraud. and i already complain this to ebay. this guy took my $900.00 dollars for what i believe is legit transaction that i paid for him for the video camera. after a week or so and i never heard from him back about any shipment. i went to his ebay stores to the seller and check his feedback and i seen a lot of ebay buyers from him that he have subtansial negative feedback from him and some of them lost money. so i immediately left a negative feedback to response me back. after few minutes or so my telephone ring and it was him and spoke to him and he was upset and i told him he was a scam! and thats what the problem begin and he wont return my money back and he hang up the phone. after 7 days i notify paypal about the matter and open a dispute from him. i called ebay on there 1800# and tell about the matter with the seller. ebay advise me not to communi9cate with him and intruct me to block his id and thats what i did. at the time i was selling some 2 items on ebay the next day someone purchase with my item. and i see an invoice in my email that his name is same from the previous ebay id that he have and i already block him. its seem that he was using other ebay acccount althought i dont want this guy to buy my item in anyway. i notify tyhis to ebay through there section for security issue for malicious buying on my item because i know it was him. and his previous home address is different from other state. and send complaint about this matter and i keep tracking my ebay stores and i have 100% feeback since i return his money to paypal he left me a nagative feedback because that his rage to destroy my reputation on ebay but it wasnt legit. and after 72 hours ebay regulation doesnt fit on my case so they cant remove this guy feedback from me and it was outrageous. i gave up my stores and close everything and never return back on ebay. it rediculous and ebay dont protect us on any transaction because ebay dont want to be involve. all they want is money from us! Eaby beware not to associate from them. boycott ebay. arnulfo moreno was still active seller and the conman won and still running illegal activities without taking any action to ban him.

This is it for Ebay. I don't think the will be in business for long. Fees are to high. With the new Feedback system, sellers can not leave any negative feedbacks for deadbeaters. I am loosing money left and right. Too many non-paying bidders and you can not do a thing. On top of that, you have to pay Ebay. Stay away from Ebay. They 110% suck!!!

I am really disgusted with eBay and their so called "policies." I have been suspended twice from eBay, once when my aucitons had just hours to go before ending. You'd think if this was SO importnat to them to susupend someone, they'd have done it early on, shortly after my auctions were listed. Not eBay. They wait til lthe last second to suspend members, and for no reason. I've emailed them several times and got no response. Finally, when I sent an email DEMANDING that someone call me about this matter, they did. When i picked up the phone and said hello, someone slammed the phone down in my ear. VERY professional!

eBay even went so far as to shut down my 70-something year old mother's account, saying that her listing violated the policies of eBay, and they didn't believe what she was selling to be true.

I don't think i'll be returning to eBay. Not only do i find the shipping fees EXTREMELY high, but a lot of people on their are crooks. Recently I ordered a laptop, coming from Hawaii. THe seller have me this bukllshit that it was sent in the mail and that it was "lost." In using deceptive conversation, I got her to admit that she never sent the item to me,and she even refused t orefund my money. She pleaded with me not to leave her negative feedback, as so not to tarnish her stellar POWER SELLER status. I had no problems in leaving her negative feedback at all! I did, and she requested my contact information from eBay and harasses me nightly since (by calling my cellphone). When I reported he rto eBay for doing this, the lady on the phone said to me "Oh well, it's not my problem. You entered into a contract with her..." I told her to go fuck herself and that I would never deal with eBay again. Oh my horror stories could continue!

I'm a college student and had been using my dad's account until a year ago when I decided to start my own. I was selling movies and stuff to pay college room and board fees. My feedback was about 98% then one day I got a suspension notice from ebay saying I had violated the seller performance policy. Apparently it was because someone was complaining and was saying that I had stolen her money and not given her a refund for an item that she received. I hadn't used delivery confirmation so I couldn't prove anything, except that I had refunded her from my PayPal account. Ebay never responded to my response email, instead they charged my account for the refund again and kicked me off. Well I go to school a way from my home and my dad linked my PayPal to his account . He would sell stuff and send me money through PayPal instead of money order. Turns out that tonight his account was suspended because it was linked to mine. My account was suspended six months ago. Why did they suspend his account? Why did it take so long? How was he linked? Now no one in my family can use ebay ever again. There's something wrong when nothing can be done about the abuse ebay puts out.

Ebay sucks! As an ebayer for many years, I am not a large volume sales person. Currently, I have a feedback of 100% with 50 auctions. Now, Ebay is forcing us to use their PayPal service, or not sell at all. Well, I will not sell on Ebay. That is for sure! Ebay is forcing all the little guys out or creating a monopoly of financial transactions; which they can release your money at their will or not.

I never do business without getting my money first. Plus, it is easy for someone to use paypal, do a chargeback, and you lose your merchandise and money!

Omygosh I too am disgusted with their customer service!(OH WAIT THEY DON'T HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE THEY DON'T PROVIDE A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE)... Anyway Yup I'm a seller on eBay & they put a lockdown on my selling account saying that I'm selling counterfeited items!!! WTF?!?!?! Seriously my items got deleted at the last minute of auction end time without any notice so the buyers got upset thinking that I've sold my items on my side!!!!! I've sent about 10 emails to ebay asking to show me a proof of any kind if not then at least explain what had happened to my items but YUP OF COURSE.. NO ANSWER. Yes I'm venting out here because I've got stuff to sell and I can't even list them eBay. Someone seriously needs to make a website just like eBay so that people can stop using eBay.. so sad.. I'm complaining but yet I'm trying to use eBay.. this is fo messed up. They don't even investigate and just ASSUME that I'm violating their policy!!! Maybe I should sue eBay for all this that I'm going through.. hmm

WE WERE ONLY WITH EBAY FOR A SHORT TIME TO BE HONEST. SOME WOULD SAY ,WELL YOU DIDNT GIVE T FAIR CHANCE ETC..........WE WOULD BEG TO DIFFER....... FROM THE INSTANT WE JOINED [IN FACT OUR VERY FIRST ITEM FOR SALE] WE WERE TARGETED BY SCAMMERS WHOM OVER BID ON THE ITEM, THEN THE BOGUS PAYPAL EMAIL CAME ETC ETC. SAW ENOUGH RIGHT THERE AND THEN, WITHDREW ALL THE OTHER ITEMS ,HAD TO PAY LISTING FEES ETC SO BASICALLY IT HAS ONLY COST US MONEY AND HASSLE ETC.TRIED TO DISCUSS THIS WITH EBAY AND VIA THE FORUMS...... NOW THERE AN EXPERIENCE IN THEM SELVES AREN,T THEY? WHAT HORRIBLE PEOPLE THEY HAVE ON THERE! IM SURE SOME MUST SURELY ACTUALLY WORK FOR EBAY BUT POSE AS ORDINARY MEMBERS. ANY DECENT IS SOON SQUASHED, IF YOUR NOT ON MESSAGE OR DARE TO MENTION FRAUD ETC THEY ACT LIKE STALINISTS!!! WELL ANY WAY TO SUMERISE, EBAY WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND WE WOULD NEVER USE IT TO BUY OR SELL EVER AGAIN NOR SADLY ANY OF THE OTHER CLONE AUCTIONS SITES THAT HAVE SPRUNG UP, EBID ETC, ITS EXACTLY THE SAME ON THERE , SAME PROBLEMS AND IM SURE IN TIME IF NOT ALREADY THEY TO WILL GO THE SAME WAY. IF YOU CANT BEAT THEM......MAY AS WELL JOIN THEM.SOME THING MUST SURELY BE DONE ABOUT THESE SITES AND THERE COMPLETE AMBIVELANNT ATTITUDE TO CUSTMERS DESPITE THE MASSIVE PROFITS THEY MAKE. SURE THAT MONEY COULD BE RE-CHANNELED INTO BETTER SECURITY CHECKS ON PEOPLE INSTEAD OF IN THERI POCKETS.

Hi,
eBay sucks. Today, I tried to help my 72 year old dad resolve a problem with a seller.

In response to my dad's winning bid, the seller wrote to him very rudely and meanly saying that she cancled his bid because he gave less than positive feedback on a rotten and molded cake he received.

I couldn't understand what one had to do with the other. I thought I had a right as buyer to have the seller sell to me as if I hit the buy button. I'd be forced to complete the contract if that was the case. Apparently not.

Apparently, the seller can cancel you if you have negative feedback. My dad had 100% positive feedback over 4 years. His negative comment was about the moldy rotten cake he received.

We will do our auctioning elsewhere.

Thank you for letting me vent.

I've lost all confidence with eBay since they suspended my account. I started out, much like anyone else, buying into the eBay Dream Machine: Needing extra cash on the side while keeping a full time job.

I'm a factory worker, working 10 hour days manufacturing insulated aluminum panels with my line crew for $9/hour. (more info about the plant here: http://www.alumashield.com ) For a while, I was living on the skin of my teeth until a friend talked about his mother's eBay business. She works as a payday loan agent full time and sells stuff on eBay in her spare time. Sounded like it was a good way to make extra money. So I took one step forward, opened an account, and started selling. But what happens in the course of 2 years is frightening...

Between the seller fees, terrible customer service communication, naive buyers, sellers that didn't send me my purchases, and (most recently) shill Nigeria bidding scams, enough was enough.
Now that I listed the particular problems I've encountered, I'm going to go into more detail about each one.

I. Sellers fees
One word: INSANE! And it got worse in 2007 when my sales shifted down to first gear. eBay cleaned out my bank and Paypal accounts with whatever little money I had to pay for the fees, even when I didn't sell squat(!).

II. Customer Service
When it came to eBay, 'customer service' appears to be a foreign concept. When I had trouble, there was no toll-free customer service numbers listed in their contact information. In place of talking to an actual person, there's the e-mail form you fill out and send. You select the problem from a drop list and type up the complaint. Knowing this from experience, about 98% of the time, a big company such as eBay would use something called a 'bot', programmed specially for this purpose. It's just one way to cut corners so companies don't have to hired a rep or two to look over each complaint and make a human decision. So what you end up with is an automated ("canned") response, which doesn't resolve your situation in any way, shape or form. It makes the customer service at Wal-mart (!!) look superior by comparison.

III. Naive buyers
eBay has made a lasting impression on the human race. So much so that people forgot the value of the items that they're purchasing off the site. There's items that are worth hundreds but are selling for pennies everyday. I'm talking about antiques, old coins/bills, vintage high end hi-fi equipment, etc.
For as long as I can remember, eBay pushed for sellers to start their bids at a low price with no reserve. Some people got suckered into that and unfortunately, I did as well. It goes with the territory of being new to eBay. A few items sold, but not at the price I wanted them to be. When I put reserves on certain items valued at X amount of dollars, it's like the bidders avoid the listing(s)like the plague.
All in all, eBay has transformed into a place where people can get something for nothing.

IV. Shill sellers
My grandpop used to have a saying: "When you get paid, pay yourself first." What that meant was get a little something for myself to show the fruit for my work efforts. I won the bid for a vintage Soundesign stereo through one seller for $67.25. I paid through Paypal and the transaction was complete. I gave it about two weeks before I sent word that I haven't received my item. No reply. Second time, same damn thing. Then the third time, I messaged the seller stating I was going to file a dispute if they didn't provide me with information regarding my parcel. Then, I went through the tiring motions of filing a dispute. Seller didn't respond to it at all and came to find out, the seller became NARU (Not a Registered User) aka Account Suspended. No refunds were given. Nothing. Nada. Zippo!

[sarcasm] It's a good feeling to flush $67 that I spent a hard 7 1/2 hours making legit at the factory [/sarcasm] on a seller that didn't deliver.

V. Shill Nigeria scam bidding
Scams from out of that little African country has now become more rampant in today's online world than ever. So much so that Dateline NBC covered this in one of their TV specials. It was sad to see those people that they interviewed have their livelyhoods ruined because of it. But thanks to that TV special, it was something to keep in mind while selling on eBay. It wasn't until I listed an LCD projector that I would experience it myself. Bidders buying it now or bidding at the last minute and winning. Either way, my hopes got high to see that I'd get some money to redo parts of my little house that I've been meaning to do but didn't have the means to do it. But that all sunk when I saw that the supposed buyer was communicating with me outside of eBay via e-mail, holding payment, spoofing eBay and Paypal's page layout with bad english, all that jazz. Then I got legit notices from eBay that it was removed due to this and had to relist it. So I did. Guess what happened after?

Same thing. For 7 (!!!!!) different times, even typing in the ad that I don't ship internationally at all.

So, I called up eBay (after spending 30 minutes searching for a number via search engine) and explained to them the situation and how fed up I was with this listing failing due to these scam artists. The nice lady said she'd take care of this for me. Come to find out, When I logged in the next day, a screen stated that I violated their policy. So, their solution to this entire problem was...

To suspend my account.

Yes, you read that correctly. Suspended because I spoke out, using my God-given American right to protest. I was blacklisted, much like a Communist would be in 1950s Americana. This came about when I gave my sister permission to use my debit card to purchase something off her account. eBay denied it not on the grounds of funds, but because it was blacklisted. It's bad enough that some companies feel they're above the law. (Case in point: making your Concealed Carry Permit useless on their property. But that 2nd Amendment predicament is another story.) eBay fits right into the same crowd of corrupt corporate businesses that dominate America today.

In conclusion, eBay is just a scam in itself. Only the ringleaders of this pyramid scheme are CEO fat cats living the high life. They don't care about you. They care about lining their pockets with silver and gold. Like the old saying goes "The rich get rich and the poor get sh*t."
If you have the drive to sell items, start your own business online on your site or use some of these alternatives listed here: http://auctionroom.blogspot.com

Just remember: Every dog will have it's day and eBay will soon get theirs.

My heart goes out to everyone out there who've went through tough experiences with this Internet venue.

Best wishes,

- The Proud American Factory Worker

I have a store on ebay for a long time. They accuse me of shill bidding because a lady bid a lot of times in different of my items. Like any bidding, she won some items and anothers no. Ebay didn't even want to do an investigation on this, day say that because she bid a lot on time I was using her for shill bidding. They suspened my account for 14 days and also I have to pay all the listing fee that they remove and is more than $300.00. That departament don't have customer services and the only way to communicate with them is trew emails. I been looking everywere to see where I can report this because I'm sure I'm not the first one to be accuse and it was not true.

Great blog. We tried to list on ebay but actually found their interface incapable of doing something really basic. I suppose you can say that we found a bug, and no one at any level would help. Support was nonexistent, and yest we checked the forums and FAQs like good users.
So we decided to skip listing on ebay and just sell via our own site. We accept PayPal, MC, Visa, etc. Well, somehow, PayPal allowed a sale to go through without the money being in that user's account. This was the first time it happened. No one has provided any level of support or assistance -- they just point fingers at the shopping cart program or our web host. Well, our webhost has been 100% flawless when it comes to payments via any source. The issue was clearly a PayPal problem, and we were out a little money but now we never trust PayPal. We always make sure that the money has been moved into our account, regardless of what PayPal's interface tells our shopping site.
The next issue is with ebay's listings. The descriptions are so disorganized and haphazard that you can't tell what the hell is going on. For example, just for fun, I thought I'd browse some land auctions tonight. There is no standardization with regard to whether you are paying the full price or just a down payment. Also, unlike local auctions, you never really have a guarantee of clear title or any sort of buyer protection. In many states, if I ran an auction like that, it would be shut down IMMEDIATELY for not complying with a host of state laws. Many areas of the site have a hodgepodge of auctions, classifieds and links with symbols and gibberish and jargon that is absolutely unreadable. Buying and selling should not be a chore. Both buyers and sellers should have protection from fraud and assaults on their reputations. Auctions should be tightly regulated and the auction house, whether virtual or not, should have to comply with state laws regarding due diligence and fraud.
The wasy to fight ebay is by demanding that your state legislature force ebay to comply with state auction regulations! But note that ebay is one of the biggest and busiest lobbyists of state legislatures and assemblies!
Ebay is regressing into a morass of scams, lies, fraud and doubletalk. Buyer beware! To those who defend ebay -- enjoy it...but recognize that you are sullying your own reputation by being associated with this electronic dump.

Ebay powersellers have a license to steal, and that's exactly what many of them do. www.retrotyme*com is a classic example. His feedback shows him ripping off buyers. Buying from him means not using ebay's checkout, but his own. His checkout will always leave him the winner and you the looser. I don't think this guy has ever ran a standard auction. Ebay allows this because he is a "powerseller".

I've had my Ebay account well over 2 years, recently started selling my old childhood toys because my family is in real need of money. Everything was going WONDERFUL the first few weeks...them *BAM* a stranger starts sending me harassing messages about how she will "report" all of my auctions and that my question on the Ebay Community message board was so "stupid" she had my question removed as well.

I did nothing to this person... I ONLY asked a question in on the Ebay message board as to why there was a "message sending limit per day", she comes along, reads my post and sends me a private, and very LONG message, about how "stupid" I am, and I will lean the "HARD WAY!" "THE VERY VERY HARD WAY"

Well I basically laughed and told this stranger to "Screw off" and added: "If you don't like my listings, go away and don't look at them!"

Well guess what happens next? ALL OF MY LISTINGS GET PULLED OFF EBAY!!! I had MANY items listed and she reported them all, which caused their system to automatically remove my listing (aka INCOME).

She then had them ALL pulled a SECOND time, after it took me over 2 days to relist them all.

WHAT THE HELL CRAWLED UP HER ASS AND DIED??

So guess what the generic reason Ebay gave for pulling ALL of my listings?:

"You listing have been removed because they violate Ebay policy. Your listings contained background color and a outside link, which is against our policy"

What total bullshit!!!

Then this crazy bitch sends me more messages saying: "HMMM.. DO YOU WONDER WHY ALL OF YOUR AUCTIONS ARE GETTING PULLED?"

I could NOT believe this was happening, nore could I believe one evil person could have so much power to do this, and take it so far..

I tried in vain to contact Ebay in every way possible, to fix this and get this targeted harassment to stop, but they did NOTHING! I called them, I emailed, I even used Ebay's Live Help, only to find out Live Help is only a automated computer that generates answers to your questions in a pretend 'chat box'. Live Help makes you *think* that a REAL Ebay Rep is typing back to you, when in reality, you're talking one-on-one to a damn computer system that can't fix any of your problems!

Well I tried to ignore this, even though I had lost well over $200 in sales because of this person, but the very next day I attemped to log into my Ebay account, only to find out my account had been suspended!! I STILL had a few auctions that were ready to end with BIDDERS and Ebay removed EVERYTHING!! Why? Because some STRANGER (who has only been a member for 3 weeks) decides to report my listings and send harassing messages??

Why is this sort of thing allowed to happen on Ebay???

To make matters EVEN worse, this morning I find out my PayPal account is also FROZEN and now I can't even withdraw MY own money!!

I also find out, that I now have a Ebay bill (for listing fees) of $118.00!! Why should I have to PAY for listings that were all removed??? They pull ALL of my auctions 3 times and Ebay STILL has the nerve to send me a bill, telling me I have to pay for listing those auctions?
Screw that!! I have NEVER been treated so poorly!

What The Fuck is EBAY'S PROBLEM??? How can they let this happen?? I DID NOTHING WRONG!! They won't even help me!

How can a brand new Ebay user come along and destroy a long time user (me) just because she wants to be a bitch? Ebay shut me down because she kept reporting me daily and said she would tell everyone else to do the same!

Why was SHE not suspended for sending harassing messages and excessively reporting of me? Wouldn't their system show that she was constantly targeting ME personally?

Ebay treated me like a fucking criminal!! All I was doing was selling my old childhood toys, minding my own business, never bothered anyone else, or reported anyones listing.. I promptly sent out every item my buyers won, and quickly payed for everything I personally bought! But now I may NEVER use Ebay again???

SCREW EBAY AND SCREW THEIR SHITTY COMMUNITY BORADS! You can't even ask a fucking question there, without getting a personal attack from people you do not even know!!

FUCK YOU EBAY, NOW MY FAMILY HAS NO MONEY!!!

I was an ebay seller for 10 years. I loved it when it was going well. My wife started using my account to sell deodorant to folks back home for her in Germany (it's amazing what they will pay for secret). So, due to the long shipping times I got four negative feedback in a row. Ebay suspended me, now the guys have received their items, they are ok with it but ebay says they must retract their negative feedback for me to come back, something that ISN'T POSSIBLE if you have ever tried. As a suspended user I couldn't leave or retract feedback mutually and they can't mutually rmove feedback from a suspended seller.

Was a member since Aug 2000, 100% Positive Feedback, Never a negative. After spending 1/2 day to post 6 items for sale on their crappy site, they killed 2 of the auctions for car tags stating it was against their policy and incorrectly posted. The tags were clearly over 3 years old and stated as such. Never an email to ask about it, just canceled it because they can. Finally replied back arguing it was against their policy...whatever. They obviously cannot read. EBAY - YOU SUCK. I am leaving and will do business on the other big 3. Ebay is no longer the giant it was, thank goodness.

I was just reading all the comments and allot of it looks like what happen to me. I had been a seller for years off and on could not really find my niche till just recently and then I became a power seller over night and I always had 100% feedback and as soon as I became a power seller it became a nightmare all at once eBay said I was copyright and using someone else photos and I got four bad feedback when there was no need for it. And I try to get back on again and can't. But I notice the really big power seller abundance of bad feedback and allot of the images that they use in there ads Copyright infringement, I use drop shippers and sell for wholesalers so I am using what is provided to me, so I don't understand how they can determine this and I have another business not on eBay but I was going to get to the point where I could just rely on eBay as main support. I feel bad for the ones that rely on this for there main support! But I would like to know if there is any auction house out there that someone can recommend also there certain products I would LOVE to sell but having know luck on finding a manufacture or wholesaler for them. Is there someone out there can give info on were to look! Thanks! Michelle

NO seller protection, no buyer protection, ebay reverses feedback at will, feedback is totally meaningless, ebay is for idiots.
Glad to have found this site, will work harder to get suspended from Ebay, sounds easier than trying to cancel my account.

I hate ebay. I thought I could sell my item there, and they removed it twice due to policy violations. The first one I could see, I had a link to my website there. But the second one was just outrageous.

I got my item promoted via a pretty large site, I got over 2,000 item views, and they yank it. And of couure they wait until there was less than 2 days left on a SEVEN DAY auction. It had over 1,000 views the first day, but that didn't get their attention I guess.

See Folks, big business is working together against us online sellers.

Ebay and Google are business partners. i would imagine Google gets a pretty good chunk of change from ebay. But ebay will just raise our seller fees to cover the cost. So not only is ebay screwing us, Google and Yahoo are as well, they just let ebay steal our profits and ebay in return gives them to Google and Yahoo. Don't count on google to start an auction, unless they contract ebay to run it.

Google and eBay Create Advertising Alliance
Monday, August 28th, 2006;
-- Andy Beal |

Google and eBay have today announced a new business partnership which will see the two companies work closely on new advertising over the next few years.

While eBay has a deal with Yahoo for ads that are shown domestically, the new deal sees Google providing ads for eBay’s international sites.

In addition, the two companies plan to work together on a pay-per-call service.

The companies said they would use Skype and Google Talk, the search engine’s instant messaging and voice-over-Internet telephone service, to build a search function that lets Web surfers launch Internet phone calls to eBay merchants or Google advertisers by clicking on ads.

Interesting that back in May, eBay and Yahoo announced that they too would work together on a pay-per-call model, but I guess that never worked out. From May’s release…

Yahoo! and eBay will explore developing and deploying “click-to-call” advertising technologies on their respective Websites in the U.S., accessible by users of both Yahoo! Messenger with Voice and Skype.

Terms of today’s deal were not disclosed, but Google CEO Eric Schmidt said the agreement with eBay is “likely to go on for many years.”

I've been trying to sell a VERY HOT item in ebay for over a month now yet I still have it due to listing cancellation, people getting their accounts Hijacked. There are 2 things that INCREASED so far, one my statement balance and two fraudulent bidders. I can only estimate that ebay is crawling with about 99% scammers. It's not like it would be so difficult to create a fake account, just open the phone directory and you have a legit looking account.

If it is true that many Power Sellers have no bussiness ethics whatsoever, I can only assume that the scammers them selves have some sort of connection with the power sellers to scare away little guys like us, ruin our auctions and eventually drive us away to protect their own so called bussiness and monopolize. Since there is really no way of tracking down the source of these scammers/power sellers, they can all wash their hands and act like nothing happened.

Of course ebay doesn't mind since they already charged your account.

And now that I have read some of the VICTIMS here about the hassle of closing an account, I have to brace my self and tap into my bottomless well of patience for I am about go through the same shinanigans.

Guilty until proven otherwise.

eBay suspended me for item misrepresentation. I checked the item in question and it was not misrepresented at all. The user who complained about the item was complaining about the product technical quality. How do I dispute something when I am not the one who made it. It was a cheap electronic item sold cheap and did nothing more than described.

Its obvious the user changed his mind and decided to pay more and get something better. Now eBay have told me I should email & phone him to resolve it. What am I suppose to say? I don't want to waste my time getting into a yelling match.

You have to love this. I won an item on Ebay, and paid for it within a few hours using PayPal. 5 hours after, I recievd an email from ebay stating that they susoended the sellers account, and that if I paid through PayPal I would have to contact them for a refund. Even though I copied the email from Ebay in my complaint to PayPal, they are making me wait the normal time for a refund, and they will charge 25% of the refund amount! So much for buyer protection.. Do yourself a favor.... If you use ebay.... RUN!!! as fast as you can before they get their hands in you pockets. They are common thives allowed to exist in a corrupt society.

So cut the complaints, and quit acting like your the shit. You guys threaten with feedback like it matters, it matters to you ONLY, because it gives you more confidence that you are in control of the transaction, when on the other hand, you just lost everything. I too have been wrongfully suspended with no explanation at all. When I objected, they sent an email asking for lots of extra ID and proof that I owned all of the mechandise I had listed and sold. I use a drop ship company so passed-in items naturally are not owned by myself.
Anyway, the first thing I did was to contact my bank and cancel the direct debit authority which was how I paid my fees.
Next, I faxed 22 copies which included tax invoices of stuff that had sold and the extra ID they asked for.
Next day I had an email advising that they could not locate my faxed request for reinstatement and it might be illegible. I was also warned that I was not allowed to use the ebay site in any way.
I faxed back the transaction report from my fax machine which stated that 22 pages were successfully sent!
A while later, I received an email from eBay billing with an invoice to pay - almost aud 200. Well, I think I got them because I have blocked the direct debit and I am currently banned from using the site and can't pay manually :D
I think more of us need to dob eBay Australia in to NSW Office of Fair Trading and ACCC for misleading advertising that eBay is the place to run a home business.
Lucky for me I hadn't given up my day job!

I filed squaretrade, seller will not refund me money. Now I have to pay for the cost, but no refund. ebay, paypal, both sucks.

Hello , I was suspended from Feebay because I stated "Pay Pal balance only , no credit cards" in one of my listings. They suspended me because they said I violated their policy. I was not in the position to take credit cards at the time. These people are morons. They would not answer any of my e-mails about getting reinstated , and stole my money from the canceled auctions. I have ways to get back on ebay if I want to , but I said screw them , their fees are outrageous and service sucks. If you want to continue to sell online , I would suggest going to www.ziing.com . You will love it there. Free stores , free listings , and much more. Feebay will lose alot of users to this site. Its slow right now , but they are launching a national ad to boost it up. Feebay has cut its own throat , its just a matter of time before they bleed to death.

Ebay asks you to think twice and try to get to an agreement with the other ebayer before sending negative feedback, if you want to quit ebay, ebay asks you to explain why and threatens you of never being able to open a new account later, but when ebay suspends your account for no reason, ebay never gives you a chance to explain or defend yourself, you don't even know what they're charging you with, these are pure totalitarian methods, ebay is surely no democracy, it's just moneycracy, that violates basic user rights.

I hate Ebay because they have destroyed the value of collectibles. I have paid $300.00 and up for dolls and they are selling for $26.00 now on Ebay. I do not understand that. It makes me sick! The dolls I paid good money for are going outrageously low! I tried to sell my collection but I was losing my tail and not to mention the fees you have to pay after you sold one. Another thing, I think they shouldn't charge you if your item doesn't sell, I believe they should only charge something if it does sell, but not outrageous fees.My gosh, they have done made a killing, I think they could afford to cut back on their fees. I think Ebay SUCKS!

For some reason, I have to constantly change my password? what is up with that? Never get a response from EBAY.

Never buy something on EBAY if you need it by a certain date.

You buy something from a POWER SELLER, pay for it and it never ships, you have to constantly email the person and finally after you leave a negative remark, that person tries to intimidate you to change it, they never give you credit.... finally mail it a month later, long after you bought the product at target. THEN the person says if you dont change your negative they are going to leave a negative on you.

ebay sucks.

A few weeks ago, I posted the saga of my attempt to close my Ebay account. Well, get this ... it took another seven emails, another four live chats, a phone call from security, and multiple threats to sue, to get the following email from a customer service supervisor:

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to closing your account.

Your email has been escalated to me as I am the supervisor in this
department.

I have thoroughly reviewed your account and would like to apologize for
the length of time that it has taken us to get back with you. I see
that the closure process was started on your account on October 16,
2006. Your account is due to close on April 15, 2007.

Your request for account closure is subject to a 180 day waiting period
because your account has been active (bidding or selling) on the site on
August 13, 2006. At this time, you listed a 512 MB PC Memory. Due to
eBay's policies concerning fraud reporting and insurance, any account
with recent activity cannot be closed for 180 days after the account
closure request is made.

During the waiting period, you won't be able to bid, make purchases,
list items, or change your contact information - but you'll still have
access to your account information.

When the waiting period is over, you'll receive an email confirming that
your account has been closed. After this, you'll no longer be able to
access any part of eBay that requires an account, and your feedback
profile will no longer be available to other members.

Thank you [name deleted] for your patience while we were working on your
account closure.

Sincerely,
Holly

eBay Customer Support

Six darned months!!! I can't believe these people. Aparently it's such a ridiculously long amount of time that even the other customer service departments don't believe it, so they pretend everything is fine "sure go ahead and close it, just use the link provided"
If they'd had the decency to write that you need to be inactive for six months on the "permanently close my ebay account" link - at least I could have avoided wasting two months on this nonsense. I thought I hated ebay before this. You can imagine the thoughts running through my head now.

All I want to do, is close my Ebay account - like Molly, I have been trying for a disturbingly long time. I'm a seller, so I question just how hard Ebay works to protect sellers in comparison to buyers. In my case, I had fraudulent sales posted to my account in July, followed by fees for those fraudulent sales, followed by my complaint email, followed by a refund of the fees (stated as though it were a friendly courtesy taking away fees for something that was my fault, which of course it wasn't), followed by a system request to close the account which was blocked based on "active listings" (I HAVE NO ACTIVE LISTINGS ON MY ACCOUNT), followed by nearly 12 hours of emailing and live chats over a two week period, trying to close my account - always with the same discussion - Me: I want to close my account but the system won't permit it; Them: sorry to hear that, here's what you have to do (they tell me to go through the usual system channels - the ones that I just told them don't work); Me: I already tried that; Them: Oh, let me look into this ... long wait Them: You need to go to this department; - leading to back and forth and back and forth between account security, billing, and general support - and all are telling me the same nonsense.

I've attached one of the email exchanges below, so you can see how it happens. Keep in mind the below was prompted by a live chat in which the cust service agent assured me that I could email them to request an account closure.

EMAIL EXCHANGE TEXT AS FOLLOWS:
First message from Me: Please permanently close my EBAY account. I have tried to do this through the regular system, but the system will not permit me to do so. The system has an erroneous record of active listings on my account. As confirmed in live help, there are no active listings on my account.

Please permanently close my EBAY account as soon as possible.

Thank you

THEM: Dear eBay member,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to close your eBay account.

I'm sorry to know that you want to close your account. For the fastest resolution of this request, please go to the following location and
follow the instructions provided:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/closing-account.html

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Pablo B.

SECOND MESSAGE ME: The system link you have provided will not allow me to close my account because it claims, incorrectly, that I have active listings. I explained this in the initial email. Please close my account and please read the emails your customers send you more closely.

THEM:
Dear (NAME DELETED),

Thank you for contacting us in regard to your wish to close your eBay account.

Is there anything we can do to change your mind? Please be aware that closing an account is a serious step because your account will be blocked from both eBay and Half.com, your contact information will be concealed, and your Feedback Profile will no longer be available.

Additionally, once the account is closed you will be unable to use the email address on another Half.com or eBay account.

For more information about the entire process, please review the
information located here:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/closing-account.html

Since you have a selling account, please check your balance and pay any amount due OR request and receive a refund if one is due. You can reach your Account Status page by following the steps below:

1. Click the "My eBay" link at the top of any eBay page. You may be
asked to log in.

2. From your My eBay page, click "Seller Account" link located under the "My Account" heading.

3. On the Account page, click the "View Account Status" link in the "My eBay Seller Account" box.

Also, kindly be aware that closing an account does not relieve a member of their obligation to pay any balance due. If there is any unpaid balance, eBay will attempt to collect it through all available legal means like professional collection services, attorneys, and credit reporting agencies.

If you definitely want to cancel your eBay membership, reply to this email and restate your request. Once we receive your reply, we will review your email and begin the account closure process.

Thank you once again for writing. I hope we will continue to have you as a valuable member of our eBay community.

Sincerely,
Marv L.

ME THIRD MESSAGE: I have tried everything you have listed here. There is a 0.00 balance on my account and there are no active listings on either ebay or half.com associated with my account. I've been working on this problem for over a week now, and I just plain want out. As I wrote before, your system has an erroneous record of active listings on my account. Thus, I cannot close the account using the link you sent me.

I don't care how "SERIOUS" you think it is that I close my account. It is far exceeded by the seriousness of your company's abject failure to protect my account from fraudulent listings. I am tired of your company's incompetence. I am tired of the horrendous customer service. And I'm tired of your failure to read the emails I send and take action on them.

Either you close my account, or I will have my company lawyer contact you and you can resolve this problem through formal litigation. That is not an empty threat. I am a client of (FIRM DELETED). Their phone number is (DELETED) if you wish to confirm this.

The final line of your email (following your thinly veiled and wholly uncalledfor threat to take legal action against me for any fictional monies owed to you) indicates that you will begin the account closing process upon receipt of this message. If so, good. Do it. Immediately. Believe me, the last thing I ever want to do is sell or buy through Ebay again.

Yours,
(NAME DELETED)

In my oppinion eBay is another example of todays corprate America.
They have so much money and so many clients they could care less about us little guys. I do not think there are any other companys big or small that do not have any kind of customer service. I get better customer service at mcdonalds from a punk high school student behind the counter than I do from a company that I pay 100's to every month for using their service. Nothing would be better for me than to see some kind of government official stand up against this evil company. The are so quick to suspend you or cancel a listing and notifie you of that. Or when you owe them money that invoice comes on time every time. But when you beed help forget about. Your wasting you time talking to a computer. EBAY SUCKS!!!!!

Ebay doesn't care about YOU.
They only want your $$$.
I was an Ebayer since they started. Back in May 06 I decided to open a Ebay Store in hopes to sell custom made quality products. $300 in fees and nothing sold. Ebay Express had just opened. The seach in Ebay was having problems. Google was indexing the categories improperly.
Well you must think that my items sucked or were over priced? Nope, best prices on the web if you could even find comparison. My quality is top notch. Opened my own web site store and got sales.
I refused to pay the final bill of $87.00. I emailed CS many times and complained of the problems and requested a partial refund. They basically replied with canned responses and said "So what? Pay Us."
As far as PayPal - Close your account. You will get ripped. There is no buyer / seller protection.
Ebay is a joke.
There are plenty of other places to sell your stuff for FREE.

I'm pissed with epay. 100% positive feedback, but the fees where getting higher and higher. I had a store, so i decided to close store and all subscription. I paid more than 100$ fees the last time ( don't want to be to precise). the next day, after i put a lot of items for sale, they accuse me with someone that i don't even know, of shill bidding. They took my listing money. They also closed my wife account ( after all we have the same adress..)
I'm sending them email to reopened my account but they don't even answer my email. a real gang of crooks. Now i'm looking for alternative to epay...and paypal that i now know are related.

Ever wonder why ebay won't give out a phone number for themselves. Could it be that they just want to fuck with peoples lives without having to answer for it. Currently ebay has a high amount of appeals for invalid or no reason suspensions. Estimated time for a response for an appeal via email of course....20+ days. Last person that we know of that finally got reinstated with still no reason provided....63 days. However if you are a power seller you can have over 300 negative feedbacks in one month and still be selling. Guess money really does talk, as least where ebay is concerned. Screw the small business and individual and give the power seller the right to fuck people over just like ebay does. Good luck to all.

Out of the blue, Ebay decided it would be a good idea to suspend my account without anything resembling a good explanation or any explanation for that matter. I am currently not working and the little money I was earning on ebay was keeping me afloat. I have emailed them twice asking nicely for re-instatement or at the very least an explanation and there has been no reply! EBAY SUCKS!!

Ebay: your motto should be We think people are basically good--only because we ignore the trillions of vicious, unethical Sellers who make us so much beautiful money! Silly me, just trying to make my apartment liveable on a budget--who knew in Ebayland it's just fine to sell nasty crap, lie about how new and sturdy and authentic it is? OR then to get all abusive and make it the buyer's fault? Or then leave negative feedback despite our responsible and quick payment, so you and all of your bullying seller buddies can make yourselves feel better by taking a dump on our feedback?? And you know know what else, Ebay? $25 is a lot of money to some of us. Especially if you need 4 of an item. You obviously know that, marketing yourself as the bargain-hunter's paradise. So it's a little insulting when you can't even be bothered to look into obvious, proven, documented fraud over amounts of "only" $25 or more. Let's say 4 items at $24 each. That's almost $100 right? But clearly not worth your time, since you don't "do" pocket-change like 4-times-$24. Your precious PowerSeller of defective, dirty junk is untouchable and will go on to do the same to others, while I'm out almost $100 with no way to even negotiate a compromise or investigate the violation. Wow, what a TERRIFIC deal! I'll be sure to tell my friends! Ebay: you suck.

eBay is a scam. I guess someone reported my listings and eBay removed them without a refund. HOWEVER, my listings were comparable, if not an exact match to other listings/prices. I notified them of this but I doubt they will do anything. I'm ready to move on and I just opened this store! I see why they are losing money!

Buyers Beware - eBay/Paypal are completely focused on protecting the sellers at the expense of the buyers. Why? Because all their fees are generated by the sellers. Ebay's and Paypal's policies are also written so as to completely reduce their responsibility and involvement in claims and disputes. Did you know you only had 60 days in eBay to initiate a dispute? Did you know that you only had 45 days to initiate a dispute in Paypal? So while you are trying to email and call a deadbeat seller, your clock is ticking - if you miss the deadlines, you get absolutely NO help from either entity (which are actually one and the same). In Paypal, that means your money is GONE, and you have no recourse. Despite what Paypal tells you when you pay with a credit card ALWAYS USE YOUR CREDIT CARD!!! At least your credit card company will protect you for up to 180 days after the transaction. Buyers Beware!

I hope someday someone would like to invest the money to develop and market 1 big online auction. Maybe we can make a forum or an organisation about this investment. I hope in the future, there is another big auction that is better than ebay

Ebay removed my listings and Suspended me for listing some dvd's that supposedly violated the owners rights. When I replied to them "If thats the case why have you not removed all the other identical listed listed items" The reply came back after about two weeks they only remove listings if there is a complaint. Ok So I got reinstated but was very careful to make sure that any future DVD's I listed were also listed in great quantitys on Ebay, Lo and behold I have been suspended again for three items the first had 637 listings 2nd 192 and the last 167. what I cannot understand is why If I have my Identical listings removed and get suspended don't they remove All of the others. To me it means that they are corrupt, also hypocritical as they are condoning the sale of the items, they say violate the owners rights. Being Cynical I can only put it down to the fact that if they removed everything they were told supposedly violating/infringing the owners rights Ebay would go Bust as they wouldn't get any money coming in.
In the UK we have a saying for companies/people like ebay :- "Don't do as I do DO AS I SAY" meaning ebay can carry on listing the items they say shouldn't be listed and make money out of it but you cant.
To conclude. I do not agree with selling fake copies of DVD's that Is why I insisted on a letter from my supplier stating that they were not fake but Genuine dvd's.
As one of the previous comments stated ebay have knocked out all the competition and think they can say and do what they like.
P.S .CHARLES I tried to log onto your site but the address in not recognised

When a problem arises guess who gets stuck with the problem? EBay/PayPal refuses to take any responsibility in any process. They let fraud run rampant in their system. They just pass it along... Usually with the "Fraudulant funds" escape clause that allows them to collect moeny from innocent people several transactions away from problems. They state in their government SEC filings that they do not want to become a mediator (or just plain help people) because that would cost them money. EBay / PayPal just wants to be a little black box. Transparency, NO WAY! Not in their mindset.

Here I am trying to make a few bucks on eBay. I notice that eBay is taking a large chunk of change and PayPal, not to mention the USPS, but I can live with it...barely. Then I get an email saying I am violating some policy of theirs. Nice. If an actual human would have been behind it, it would never have been sent. Some big brother computer program deciding my fate!

Beware! You don't really have an eBay business, you are on borrowed time, they can take it away from you at anytime...and they allow the computers investigate, convict, and prosecute. Sadly, I am not joking.

On June 28, 2005 at 12:52pm I received a notice from Ebay stating “This email is to notify you that your account has been indefinitely suspended from eBay due to violation of our Shill Bidding Policy. Your account has been found to be involved in Shill Bidding with the following associated account(s)”. The full content of the notice proceeded to list the names of 27 other Ebay members, some of whom I recognized as competing bidders on merchandise legitimately bid on, won and paid for from auctions previously posted by Buyessex, a secondary market electronics liquidator located in Nashville, Tennessee. Between September 18, 2003 and June 30, 2005 I have conducted 2518 winning bid transactions totaling $52,143.22 with Buyessex, a fact that I can fully document with invoices, payment receipts and tax records. I can categorically state that I am not now nor have I ever been employed by, coerced by, or in any way, shape or manner involved with Buyessex in any form of “shill bidding” scheme or any other form of business transaction other than those previously mentioned legitimately conducted within the framework of and in full conformance with all rules and regulations governing membership within the Ebay community. All transactions between Buyessex and myself have been conducted in a mutually professional and, until now, mutually beneficial and satisfactory manner. I have found Buyessex to be a highly competent and professional organization and have been thus far very pleased with both the product and service offered in my business relationship with them. The records of these transactions were sent via FedEx and accepted at Ebay’s corporate office in San Jose, California. I have spent nearly six years establishing a 100% positive profile as a seller on Ebay, a crucial element to the success of any online selling venture and had full expectations of depending on this reputation to establish both current and future supplemental income. I filed an appeal through the appeals process offered to their membership and was informed “Based on the information you have provided, I have reviewed your situation. Due to the evidence in our records and the severe nature of shill bidding, it has been determined that your account will not be reinstated”. Needless to say I was completely baffled by their response as I have maintained meticulous records of these transactions and felt that after reviewing the situation they would surely realize their mistake and reinstate my account to active status. Although I didn’t really expect an apology for having defamed me by circulating their false accusations among the other 27 members whose names appeared on the “hit list” email which we all received as well as Buyessex with whom I had developed a steady business relationship over the course of the past two years, I felt that reinstatement would surely be forthcoming. I replied to the email stating their decision to my appeal by inquiring of them what evidence they were referring to by “the evidence in our records” as I was certain that there could be no such evidence and surely this would put and end to the matter. The response I received stated “Your case has been reviewed again, and it has been concluded that your account will remain closed. Although future emails from you will be read, unless they contain additional information for review, we will be unable to respond”. This concluded all communications with them on this matter. My User ID is godsnus and I have been an Ebay member since 1999 during which time I have maintained a 100% positive feedback profile with over 3300 positive feedbacks and zero negative feedbacks. Under US tort law libel is defined as “The defamation of a person's reputation, in writing or by images”. Until 1964, a person could prove that they had been libeled simply by showing that the statements in question were incorrect. In 1964, the Supreme Court decided that public officials had to prove that the statements in question were made with "actual malice" for the purpose of harming the person's reputation. As a result of the Supreme Court case, Time, Inc. v. Firestone (1976) private individuals only have to prove negligence, rather than "actual malice". It is my contention that Ebay was negligent in their research of this matter and that my reputation has been defamed by this negligence. By doing so “in writing or by images” and then circulating their accusation among the 28 individuals mentioned in their email I believe they are guilty of having libeled me and effectively destroyed the reputation I had spent years establishing. I believe there are other individuals such as myself among these 28 members who would have no problem proving libel under the current requirements of the court.

I tried to have negative feedback removed.

I paid for an item with PayPal. The seller never shipped it. When I complained he left negative feedback. PayPal refunded my money.

eBay will NOT remove the feedback unless I pay them $29.95. They extort this fee from you to use their dispute resolution service. They won't accept that PayPay (which they own!) investigated and found I was cheated.

HOW TO EQUALIZE FEEDBACK: DO NOT leave positive feedback for any seller until they have already left positive feedback for you. POWER SELLERS must have feedback, but once you leave your comments, they could care less about helping a little buyer look better.

Ebay removes the listings of genuine Nikes that I bought from authorized wholesaler in Beijing along with an authoriztion letter signed by Nike V.P. They continually remove small sellers listing as I have communicated with many having the same problems as I have had. Ebay removes our listings while their big"powersellers" like solestop,
sell the same exact shoes and are never hassled.
One recourse is to open a fictitious and vindicative ebay buyers account. You can do this with only a name and address as no bank or credit card is needed unless you are selling. Then go to the monopolistic sellers stores, the ones that Ebay promotes and colludes with and buy all the buy it nows and bid their items up as much as possible, then simply ghost the fake e-mail account you opened and ghost the fake ebay ID delete 'em and forget 'em
Ebay will refund their listings but it takes a couple weeks and at least you get some satisfaction.
Ebay is not fair- I dont know how you become their preferred seller , allowed to sell imported Nikes from Nike factories direct China to USA. I dont know for a fact that it is all about a payoff, but hey it walks like a duck and talks like a duck (quack, quack) Whatever happened to free trade under Nafta and our other agreements? Whatever happened to the free internet trade law passed under Clinton? Rhetoric that is all that crap is. They wont let a little seller make any money- they will suspend your account- and you will get angry and e-mail until your fingers are sore and your eyes are bloodshot- because those same items are being sold by several large stores on Ebay with no problems. EBAY SUCKS! THE RICH GET RICHER and then PAY EACH OTHER OFF AGAIN!

No phone numbers to call
no contacts
ebay will contacts us on its own will
no customer services
they will rip money out of your ban account without any justification if your account is linked with paypal
paypal a bigger thief, will take money out of your account or simply freeze your account, and would not give any justification of its acts. only way out is resolved with their terms and conditions

Ebay and Paypal are blood sucking entity,
they charge enormous fee to sell stuff at pennies,

they would suspend a great seller with 95 or plus feedback, that shows how wise they are or how arrogant they are.
ebay is tax hole for the govermnet, US govt is loosing billions in sales and income Taxes because of Ebay and getting the nation in debt hole. the only company making money is Ebay.

they would not answer your emails for days , if they respond 'answer would be null"

I think every one should post here and write emails to SEc, Consumer affairs, better business bureo, department of Justice.

Some one should post links for such phone numbers and contact info of these governing agencies over here.

I have noticed that the little guy is getting squeezed out of ebay in some areas and more foreign crap is flooding the market.(Not to say all foreign made items are, some are real nice)Remember, there are 1 or 2 easy solutions, and 8 or more harder solutions to figure out to solve this problem. Maybe if we can support eachother in finding a solution.

Not that I'm a scammer, but it's incredibly easy to scam on eBay. Any average schmuck can scam somebody out of $500 using eBay as a tool. And the worst thing about it is eBay and PayPal's maze of "customer support", which basically consists of never ending loops of Q&A's, and automated emails. Of course it's not eBay's fault that people steal, but the fact that it has become so easy is their fault.

Ebay is a company run by Devils. Notice, I've used a capital D. I have been trying for three months to close my account but it is not happening. In more than forty years of conducting business, I have never come up against such faceless bureaucratism. Cancer is a problem. Alzheimer's is a problem. Huntington's disease is a problem. Death is a problem. eBay is a problem. From my perspective, these things are whistling the same life-sucking tune. Ebay does not suffer from bad customer service, they suffer from no customer service. They are a bunch of liars who harbor criminals and then punish the ones who are doing nothing wrong. The fact that they suspend people for posting ebays phone number on the message forums is a great example of how crooked they are. You can get suspended for being a week late on your sellers fees, but if you rip 6 people in a row off and then lose a dispute against them, you will still not be suspended. How many times do you have to Rip people off before they do anything about it? Ebay harbors crooks because they themselves are crooks.

ebay sucks for sure!
Be treated like gold, I opened a new auction website, just like ebays, hope I can blow ebay away! even ebay started off with a handfull of members.
go to: http://www.barclaysauction.com
And get $20.00 for joining for free. NO STRINGS ATTACHED!

I too was wrongfully suspended! I listed windows95 for sell, and didnt know the rules, I was new to ebay, they pulled it, and I said I was sorry I didnt know the rules of selling as I was new at selling on auctions. Ebay said before I relist it, to read the rules, and I can only sell it, if the computer that came with windows95 was included in the sale.
I said ok, So I relisted it, as ebay said it was ok, and I typed in big red letters," I am including the hardware,(PC), with this windows95, to abide with ebays rules".
next thing I know? Ebay pulled off that auction!
yet I followed all the rules.
I even keep the auction that was pulled to prove that I did include the pc in the auction!
I had 100% feedback and was a excellent ebayer, I paid for my items right away, and I shipped out any items I sold the next day, and I followed all ebays rules.
Next day? My husbands, and 2 sons ebay accounts were also cancelled! Ebay said they were suspended because they are associated with me! Wow, how unfair. I have 4 computers in my home, and my whole family got suspended because ebay made a mistake when pulling my auction.
I then emailed microsoft and had them look at my auction that was pulled, they said I did no wrong, and if it was up to them? they would give me back my account. I emailed ebay, and got a reponse back telling I was suspended for repeatly listing things I wasnt allowed to sell, yet this is so untrue! I sold only 3 things on ebay, one was a printer, the other was a book, and the 3rd was the win95!
I told them to check their records because myself nor my family was never suspended before! I even gave them the auction that was pulled by mistake by ebay, and it proved that I did indeed include the pc in my auction.
I told them it is unfair to suspend my family for no reason at all, and I didnt like being treated like a criminal!
Ebay then emails me back and decides to suspend me for life! Whoa! Thats pretty drastic!
And I didnt even do anything wrong, I followed the rules, and yet other ebayers were selling the exact same windows as me, and some didnt even include the pc and their auctions werent pulled and they sold their windows95!!
I keep email ebay nealry everyday for a year, and pleaded with them to please review my account, and then they could see the auction that caused me suspension was pulled in error.
Finally someone from ebay answered me, and said, yes, I was correct, etc.. they told me to send in a reinstate form by fax, I did, and didnt hear back from ebay after 2 weeks, so I refaxed it.
Today? I get a email saying, after reviewing my case? They have decided to keep me suspended indifently! And they said, they wont be answering my emails anymore, unless I have new info.
How rude is that!
ebay makes a person feel like a criminal, they dont like the small sellers, ebay suspends people for no reason, and ebay support is just plain rude. Well ebay needs to be taught a good lesson, I waited for a new auction site to come up, praying that auction site would blow away ebay, hoping ebay customers would just leave rude ebay, and watch ebay go down! Cause they suck!
I then decided im going to open my own auction site, just like ebays, and I did! I opened it just 4 days ago, and im offering everyone who joins $20.00 for free! NO STRINGS ATTACHED!
I pray my site gets big and I attract all the big ebay sellers!
Yes I could suspend, reinsate, etc.. on my website, but im not gonna! I believe its the customers who makes a persons website grow! And those customers should be treated like gold and have the real respect they deserve!
And ebay makes it sound like its a big thing to reinstate a person, but its not! Its one click of the mouse!
I wont treat my customers like criminals, no way!
I had my website esigned my a web designer, and I hired a host, I also bought a domain name, and Im looking into buying advertisment.
My website is: http://www.barclaysauction.com.
Come by and be treated like a king or queen!
And get $20 for free for signing up.
You deserve to be treated like a important customer, whether you sell only one thing, or a 100 things, all customers are important at my auction site.
Im hoping it will get big, im not doing too bad, since its only been open for 4 days and I already have lots of members, even ebay started off with no members, etc..
Please come by to my website and you wont have to worry about so many rules!!
Im still ticked off at my email tonight from ebay!
Very rude people.
Thanks for listening and I see im not the only one who feels this way about ebay.

I am a single mom of 3 small children and i am going to have to provide them with all the information they have requested from me i think they said they wanted my first born to no they did't but they might as well have they need every thing else. I am just worried I provide them with every thing they need and they still do not let me back on considering I have read many many horror stories this past week. AND TO THE PERSON THAT WROTE HAHA WE SUCK AND WHO SAID WE WERE NOT USEING EBAY CORRECTLY THAT IS WHY WE GOT BANNED SHE ALSO WROTE EBAY IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH WELL UNTIL YOU GET KICKED OFF SWEETIE FOR NO APPARENT REASON EBAY/PAYPAL IS A MONOPOLY AND YOU TO WILL REALIZE THAT WHEN IT HAPPENS TO YOU FOR NO REASON!! FUNNY HOW YOU PUT YOUR SELF IN AS ANONYMOUS WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND YOU SHOULD NOT COME INTO A BLOG WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU SUCK MISS ANONYMOUS HAHA HAHAHA!!!

I received an e-mail yesterday telling me that my account was suspended and that I was deemed a threat to the safety and security to the ebay community.

I was shocked at such as accusation. I am not even a seller. I have been on e-bay for a few days, bought one item, paid for it (and payment went through because the seller verified this and so did my bank) and was bidding on another (A Macgyver season two DVD) and they sent me two e-mails. First, the one telling me my bid for $15 on MacGyver was retracted (the item sold for $26) and the second e-mail was the one mentioned above.

I am deeply outraged at this disgraceful treatment and am still waiting on an e-mail reply. I have tried their "live chat" which is an absolute insult, because they said that there must be a reason why they banned me. (In other words, they accused me of wrongdoing - that ebay couldn't have possibly made a mistake). They would not resolve the problem and refered me to some stupid website page which you have to spend ages searching through it to find a form to fill out to send to them.

Even angrier still, I phoned e-bay all the way from Australia at 4am this morning and just got put on hold for 10 minutes (I would not wait longer because it costs to much money phoning places thousands of miles away).

Basically ebay just go out and ban people for no reason and then hide themselves and make it impossible for anyone to contact them. This is an outrage of injustice.

I am aware that we all make mistakes. I am a trainee manager in a takeaway store. But when I make mistakes I apologise and recify them. I don't accuse the customer of wrong doing and I actually speak to them face to face, not through some 48-72 hour delayed web form.

Hello,

Thanks for writing in. I'm Cherie.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in our response to
your email. Your concerns are important to me and I appreciate the
opportunity to assist you at this time.

Please note that the Unpaid Item infraction you received for this
transaction has been removed from your account because this was your
first appeal of the Unpaid Item Policy.

I will continue to investigate the seller and take appropriate action
upon the completion of my investigation. Unfortunately, due to privacy
concerns, I cannot provide you with any details regarding this
investigation or the actions taken. Please rest assured that I will take
appropriate action.

Unfortunately, eBay doesn't actually handle the merchandise that is
offered for trading. Without first hand knowledge of the item, we are
unable to guarantee the accuracy of the listing information.

We encourage members who are interested in bidding on an item to email
the seller for additional information. Be sure to ask the seller
specific questions regarding age, authenticity and condition of the item
before bidding. In the unlikelihood that the seller doesn't respond, you
may want to reconsider your bidding decision.

Oh bullshit, bullshit, bullshit..........

Dear Cherie.

In response to your email....

What a lie.

The unpaid item infraction shouldn't have been removed because it was my first appeal.....

It should be removed cause the seller was selling second hand fans, as new ones....

That is not only a conjob, it's illegal.

I had previously asked you guys to act upon this 2 X, before this fellow made an unpaid items dispute, and both times you did absolutely NOTHING about it....

I have been building and running computer systems for over 20 years - in the field of IT., and it was after I bought the fans I went, "Hang on a second, there is something not right here... - and I lifted the image of the fans and zoomed in a little on them and they have dust on the leading edges of the fans and in some of the recess's - consistant with picking up dust while running".

I told you guys, I sent you the images he had put on his site and you guys did nothing.....

So it's not like I have to come crawling for forgiveness or sucking up, "Oh please don't close my account".....

And the EBAY administration already has a bad enough reputation for creaming profits.. by trampling the buyers and conding the conduct of rotten sellers - who have hundreds of complaints against them for not delivering the goods etc., because sellers make the money, and despite the fairyland stories about "the ebay community", - money is all the Ebay management are interested in; and the customer supports reputation is well earned as being bloody awful - and worse...

So you may as well save your automated and manufactured response for those who are gullible enough to swallow it....

Because I have as much respect for the management and administration of ebay as I do for that scumbag junkie George Bush and his sleazebag toady - John Howard.

There are more and more competitors in the market place, and even if my account was closed, after all the really, really, really, bad and indifferent service from the Ebay management and customer service deparments, I am more than happy enough to go elsewhere.

Your failure to act upon the complaint in a timely fashion has cost me time and effort to keep my account open and to clear up my name in relation to a dishonest seller, that I should not have had to expend.

The greed, the apathy, the indifference, the lazyness, the manufactured replies, bouncing customers around - backwards and forwards for ever and ever.......

Ebay's management and staff's attitude to customers is so bad - and the stadard of service is so bad, that I really I don't care anymore.

Dear smokymtnjerky (orders@smokymtnfoods.com),

Thank you for sending your request for reinstatement.

I have reviewed the information you have provided, as well as the information we have on file. The decision has been made to deny your request.

To protect the integrity of our site, eBay does not permit suspended users to re-register with eBay, or use eBay's services under any account name. eBay reserves the right to suspend new accounts opened by anyone in the same household of a suspended user, or by any other associates of a suspended user. Based on our records, the information you provided to us matches that of a previously suspended user.

Your account is suspended indefinitely with no plans for reinstatement.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Regards,

They have suspended the company I work with, anyone is my household, my kids my husband and anyone who associates with me. How can they do that. That is not right. I want to fight these jerks and prove they can't tell people who they can associate with and whom they can't. That have illegally marked me for no reason. I proved all the proff they requested and still they lie.

Bad Bad Bad people.

Over 6 Years and 100% Positive, banned for inadvertantly relisting a previously delisted item. No understanding, NO COMMON SENSE that I wouldn't intentionally relist the same item that got me suspended in the first place...Then the PayPal account "HoldUp" YIKES What fraudulent banking practice !

Canned answers are to common for serious questions .....waiting time is 4-12 days ...everyone is called "WE" .....three different "WE's" give you three different answers.....the "Community" must be run by a bunch of want to be dictators, who seem to get off on squeezing your tennis balls till you want to buy a blowgun (prohibited) or a 500,000 volt stun gun "OK" and torture all the "WE' bxtches with thier own products and ask them which one feels like a weapon? I built a business on E-Bay for two years and the morons destroyed it in 14 days. SUCK is not the best word.

You know the crap from ebay.......

eBay Australia Customer Support wrote:

I hope in the future, there is another big auction that is better than ebay

I notified them of this but I doubt they will do anything. I'm ready to move on and I just opened this store! I see why they are losing money!

All that was over a magazine that she wanted back really badly for some stupid reason...and after Paypal said I did not have to send it back to her.

Sincerely,
Holly

Six darned months!!! I can't believe these people. Aparently it's such a ridiculously long amount of time that even the other customer service departments don't believe it, so they pretend everything is fine "sure go ahead and close it, just use the link provided"
If they'd had the decency to write that you need to be inactive for six months on the "permanently close my ebay account" link - at least I could have avoided wasting two months on this nonsense. I thought I hated ebay before this. You can imagine the thoughts running through my head now.

I got off lightly - and told them to F'in close my account - before they screwed me over to.
I did also manage to screw Paypal before telling them where to go to as well..

In an ideal world - it would be great to see the chiefs of ebay etc LOCKED up in JAIL sometime down the road. Or some physco crazy guy to **** them.

It just goes to show ya, you can't make everyone happy. The way I can "fight back" is that I am not going to sell or buy any more stuff off on eBay. I've been burned as both a seller and buyer... I'm just sick of it all. It reminds me to never start my own business because you'll always have someone who's not happy and wants to get something for nothing. Cya lata eBay - I'm going back to retail. PS: I like that Ghost idea from a previous post - there are a few eBayers I'd like to mess with... but I have to remember that karma is a YOUKNOWWHAT.

THEN the person says if you dont change your negative they are going to leave a negative on you.

ebay sucks.

I'm pissed. I bought item, it was broken, I was fool to believe seller was going to refund me. Time passed, too late dispute, seller took my money, thread me no return item no refund, so I sent it back, she kept my money, item and insurance money from mailing company. I filed squaretrade, seller will not refund me money. Now I have to pay for the cost, but no refund. ebay, paypal, both sucks.

Google and eBay Create Advertising Alliance
Monday, August 28th, 2006;

I got my item promoted via a pretty large site, I got over 2,000 item views, and they yank it. And of couure they wait until there was less than 2 days left on a SEVEN DAY auction. It had over 1,000 views the first day, but that didn't get their attention I guess.

Thanks! Michelle

Hi,

Maybe I should sue eBay for all this that I'm going through.. hmm

EBAY is very selfish, not helpful, cheater, greedy and totally unfair.

They 110% suck!!!

i quit selling on ebay because they cant protect me for this guy online arnulfo moreno. the guys was a fraud. and i already complain this to ebay. this guy took my $900.00 dollars for what i believe is legit transaction that i paid for him for the video camera. after a week or so and i never heard from him back about any shipment. i went to his ebay stores to the seller and check his feedback and i seen a lot of ebay buyers from him that he have subtansial negative feedback from him and some of them lost money. so i immediately left a negative feedback to response me back. after few minutes or so my telephone ring and it was him and spoke to him and he was upset and i told him he was a scam! and thats what the problem begin and he wont return my money back and he hang up the phone. after 7 days i notify paypal about the matter and open a dispute from him. i called ebay on there 1800# and tell about the matter with the seller. ebay advise me not to communi9cate with him and intruct me to block his id and thats what i did. at the time i was selling some 2 items on ebay the next day someone purchase with my item. and i see an invoice in my email that his name is same from the previous ebay id that he have and i already block him. its seem that he was using other ebay acccount althought i dont want this guy to buy my item in anyway. i notify tyhis to ebay through there section for security issue for malicious buying on my item because i know it was him. and his previous home address is different from other state. and send complaint about this matter and i keep tracking my ebay stores and i have 100% feeback since i return his money to paypal he left me a nagative feedback because that his rage to destroy my reputation on ebay but it wasnt legit. and after 72 hours ebay regulation doesnt fit on my case so they cant remove this guy feedback from me and it was outrageous. i gave up my stores and close everything and never return back on ebay. it rediculous and ebay dont protect us on any transaction because ebay dont want to be involve. all they want is money from us! Eaby beware not to associate from them. boycott ebay. arnulfo moreno was still active seller and the conman won and still running illegal activities without taking any action to ban him.

eBay sucks big time.

This is my second time I've been banned from Ebay, I am 15 years old, I started clean and eager to be on ebay since it sounded fun, until I started to sell digital items and they bannned me for 30 days. I was disgusted and I was to never go back to ebay but after 30 days of boredom I said okay well I'm back, turns out that I couldn't list any items for another 30 days but that I could buy things now.
60 days later I'm back on ebay I had 27 feedbacks and 100%
I sold digital items but legally this time over and over againg very smoothly I had 192 feedback !!I was doing good I had 200 dollars in my paypal. With the 200 dollars I bought a laptop, turns out the guy that I bought the laptop from reported all my items, and ebay didn't even check the items and I was banned for the second time.
What Irony all my work selling and the money that I made was buying my own death. I hate ebay and if I ever go back to ebay is gonna be in 10 years

ebay suspended me for selling 3 Wii systems and a TV. Told me I, well here is the actual letter below. and then Paypal put hold on all funds so I couldn't send buyers their items. Told me that I sold to many high end items, I SOLD 4 ITEMS. Have been using ebay and paypal since about 1999 and have had no complaints, I don't understand all I know is that ebay & paypal, (one in the same), SUCKS. iOffer, eBid and other sites great and no listing fees, small final value fees. iOffer even gives you a free store.

I've been a member of ebay and paypal for about 8 or 9 years, I recently sold a cellphone on ebay. The buyer ( onlinepurchaser213 ) wouldn't respond to my messages about payment so after about a week I filed a nonpaying bidder claim, they replied stating they would pay in about a week. Two weeks passed before they finaly payed and ask that I withdraw my claim and let them know when I shipped. So I did and the day after I shipped and sent a copy of the reciept they filled a non recieved item claim with paypal and sent me a message saying don't bother shipping just give me my money back! After numerous messages they refused to respond until I said I was going to report the phone stolen to verizon, then they got mad and said they had recieved the phone but that the claim would not be withdrawn for fear that I would have it deactivated anyway. Complaining to paypal and ebay got me nowhere they sided with the buyer even though I forwarded all the messages and reciept of shipping to them. According to paypal I might of forged them even though they came through ebay, this person would not contact me directly. On top of all this the A-HOLE left me neg feedback (my feedback was perfect till now) and I cannot even leave them a neg. So I asked ebay to atleast remove the neg feedback as it made refrences to investagations by ebay and paypal,(thats supposedly against the feedback policy) but got nowhere there either. So I left them a pos feedback with a neg message which was promptly removed by ebay! Along with a message that I was now in violation of the the terms of service. Speaking of terms of service I did some checking during all this and found this.

Now back to the terms of service. Providing invalid contact info is a violation of their TOS! Filing a claim without allowing time for an item to arrive is a violation of their TOS!
The UK email address should be a flag right off, this A-HOLE is in california. The phone number provided through ebay to Great Lakes Communication Corp, Lake Park, IOWA!!!! and you can only leave messages. The Paypal phone number is NONWORKING even the paypal rep who I spoke with could not contact this person to resolve the situation, but that didn't stop them from taking the money from my account and giving it to this obvious scammer! Also I checked this persons feedback and I'm not the first one they have done this to, I didn't want to deal with this person but was assured by EBAY to follow through with the transaction. I since have closed my accounts with both ebay and paypal, having been scammed out of both the item and money, my perfect record ruined by this scammer, no support from them and them preaching TOS to me, and their complete ignorance, enough is enough. I've lost money before on ebay but their total one sided feedback policy is bunch of BULL!
It's all to easy for people to get free stuff on ebay.
Heres how the scam works.

1. Get A PO box and a credit card with the billing address to the PO box. You can transfer the billing of an existing credit card to the PO box.
2. Set up a paypal accout. (you should probably use a credit card NOT a bank account so if all else fails charge it back :) Bogas phone number (NO PROBLEM THEY DON'T CARE)
3.Set up your ebay account. (ONCE AGAIN BOGUS INFO IS NO PROBLEM)
4.Buy something then wait to pay until the seller files a claim.
5.Wait as long as you can and then pay using paypal.(CLAIMS CAN ONLY BE FILED WITHIN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME AND MUST BE RESOLVED BY A CERTAIN TIME SO WAITING IS IN THE SCAMMERS FAVOR)
6.Get the seller to withdraw their claim (ONCE WITHDRAWN IT CAN'T BE REOPENED)and get them to ship. (CONTACT THEM THROUGH EBAY ONLY SO THEY CAN'T GET YOUR IP ADDRESS)
7.File a non recieved item claim with paypal. Paypal will always side with the buyer (REMEMBER TO WATCH YOUR TIMING)
8. Leave NEG feedback.
9. Since sellers can't even leave NEG feedback your scott free!!!!!

So all you people who are still sticking your necks out by dealing with ebay and paypal WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM AND THIS SCAMMER!!!

To: Intelligent eBay Members

eBay, without a doubt, is one of the most fascist autocratic companies on this planet, and probably all others as well. If indeed there other planets with 'intelligent life', then by that fact alone they are light years ahead of the morons at eBay. And, this doesn't only apply to the low-level peons who are both ill-equipped to deal with even the most basic of problems that eBay members routinely encounter, but also the brain-dead higher-ups who somehow manage to initiate some of the most illogical, non-sensible, and possibly unconstitutional policies ever conceived in a free society.

Another abhorrent stance that eBay has dedicated itself from DAY 1, is the 'hide your head in the sand', 'hands-off' approach as it relates to intervening in the inevitable disputes between buyers & sellers. This, in and of itself, is reprehensible... and even more so given its status as a BILLION DOLLAR entity that generates more than enough revenue to provide, free-of-charge, prompt direct resolution by trained professionals either by toll-free telephone contact, snail-mail correspondence, email, etc.

Another repugnant dilemma is the fact that eBay was allowed to buy out the independent online payment company PayPal, and consolidate it under their expanding umbrella of fascistic monopoly. To make matters worse, eBay effectively drove all its major competitors in the online payment business, i.e. BidPay/MoneyGram & Western Union, both of which are extremely large and highly reliable companies, from the marketplace. And they did so by actively participating in their respective demises by perpetuating a slanderous campaign on the eBay website, aimed directly at these two well-respected companies, by admonishing eBay members to desist from the use of these alternative payment systems. This smacks not only of a direct conflict of interest as the very company offering the goods for sale under its auspices, also provides the only viable online payment service to pay for said goods. Does there appear to be grounds for a class action suit here, or at least an investigation into anti-trust laws?

These are just a few of the negative aspects of eBay that I had time to publically air at this time... but stay tuned for more!

An EX-eBay member

I have been selling and buying on eBay for years. With NO problem.

Until recently, as you get, some idiot eBayer purchased an item off me and wanted to return it, because it was just like the description - please note, that be used/vintage. This was clearly explained in the listing more than once, supplemented by detailed pictures.

I contacted eBay's Live Help who said that the buyer was not within their right to return the item and that I will not deserve a negative and so I should write to "Trust and Safety" to have them review the case, so as to solve the problem and stop any negatives.

What a joke! The buyer left a negative and Trust and Safety basically told me there was nothing they could do, that they to don't and won't get involved and that the feedback couldn't be removed because it violated no policies. I wrote to eBay numerous times (as it was originally an eBay staff member who told me different, and mind you many of the "Live Help" team told me the same) but they wouldn't do a bloody thing about it and just kept giving me ridiculous scripted responses. Even though the buyer blocked me without allowing me to help and left a negative before anything could be resolved anyway. Fair??

To prove eBay's stupidity, at one stage I tried to feedback removal (after numerous attempts) one eBay staff member told me that it fitted the requirements for removal. YAY I thought, but when I went to see if it was removed - they removed the wrong one!!!!! So I went back to eBay and asked them to remove the right comment (my only negative ever) and again they said it didn't meet the requirements.

It's a stupid feedback system, dickheads can not pay a seller, can block a seller, simply change their mind or do whatever they like to a seller but a seller has to sit there and take it and cannot leave a neutral or negative feedback. Leave a negative/neutral comment as a positive and eBay will remove it because it "conflicts with a postive rating". What a load of horse sheet.

So I get over that, get over the fact that eBay are idiots, that buyers are idiots and the whole system is unjust and unfair and then it just gets better.

Uploading my listings on the weekend and I get to the 36th item and there's an error message saying that I have reached my selling limit, so write to "Trust and Safety" to find out why and have it resolved.

Well, what another load of sheet that one is. I am a bronze powerseller and after numerous emails to their stupid team I have gotten no where - again scripted responses telling me it's to protect people from counterfeit items but they won't tell me any more. I asked them to actually look at my account and they will see I have never sold a counterfeit item and that anything I've ever sold is not something that is usually counterfeited anyway. (perfume oil, bath products, clothes from Supre?) They told me to protect eBay's security they cannot tell me why and not to write to them again for 90 days. I have asked them to again look at my account and tell me what I've done wrong so I don't do it again and they keep telling me that they cannot tell me why there is a restriction on my account but that it is appropriate at this time. How ridiculous is that? I don't even own something counterfeit! I don't have any stupid violations, I don't have anything been reported so what is the is sue?

My problem is they can't even give you a personalised answer. If it's such an issue, then why can't they tell me what I've done wrong?

I am FED up with these pack of losers. It's just getting ridiculous. Paying stupid amounts in fees to eBay and Paypal, and eBay favouring everyone but the seller.

They are recording my conversation, what do they have to hide? Oh yea, lawsuit evidence where they would lose.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT EBAY SUCKS BIGTIME!! I STARTED SELLING ON EBAY AUSTRALIA EARLY THIS YEAR AND FOUND OUT THEIR SELLING FEES ARE A JOKE! AFTER DISCOVERING OZTION (ANOTHER AUSSIE AUCTION WEBSITE) I STOPPED USING EBAY AS OZTION ARE GREAT - THERE IS NO LISTING FEE, AND THE SELLER FEES ARE NOTHING LIKE EBAY'S FEES! WHAT MADE ME "HATE" EBAY EVEN MORE SO WAS WHEN MY BOYFRIEND USED MY EBAY ACCOUNT NOT LONG AGO TO SELL HIS DVD'S. HE HAD A GREAT THING GOING, HE WAS HONEST ABOUT EVERYTHING,TIL EBAY SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT - THEY WERE NEVER CLEAR ABOUT THEIR REASON BEHIND THE SUSPENSION WHICH PEEVED ME OFF SO MUCH! THEN CAME THE PROBLEMS WITH PAYPAL - I HAD A FEW DISPUTE CLAIMS RAISED AGAINST ME BECAUSE OF EBAY'S SUSPENSION - PAYPAL WERE GREAT ABOUT IT, AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SORTED NOW BUT WHAT A MAJOR HEADACHE EBAY HAS CAUSED IN MY LIFE!! I HAVE NEVER RECOMMENDED EBAY TO PEOPLE BEFORE AND AFTER GOING THROUGH WHAT I HAVE BEEN BECAUSE OF EBAY I THINK THEY NEED TO BE BOYCOTTED! I HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY ABOUT EBAY - THEIR SELLING FEES ARE A JOKE - I FOUND THAT THEY ARE BULLY'S WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR FEE'S - THEY ARE VERY HARRASSING!! AND THEIR STUPID POLICIES ARE A MAJOR JOKE! YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW EVERYSINGLE POLICY INSIDE OUT OR THEY WILL STUFF YOU UP BIGTIME! JUST TO LIST AN ITEM IS A MAJOR HEADACHE!!! ANYWAYS THEY DID ME A HUGE FAVOUR NOW AS I WILL NEVER EVER USE EBAY OR RECOMMEND OTHERS TO DO SO, THEY NEED TO LEARN ALOT FROM OZTION!

I really hate ebay...I was just some little guy way up north in canada where there is nothing for miles and miles....I bought stuff on ebay for our kids because the closest dept. store is 2-3 hours away. so over the last 3 years I amassed 193 stars with 100% feedback...while in their fucking infinite wisdom they suspended my account. when I asked why they said that I was linked to a suspended account and to check the email account of the so said suspended account that I was linked to...well fuckheads I have only had 2 fucking email accounts since I became internet friendly (5 years) so these fucking pinheads have no idea of what they are talking about...and when I brought it to their attention that they were in the wrong and looking at a liable and slander suit they said they could not talk to me any more...so I am now blocked. so I started a new one and am on a mission.
I talked to a few of my regular people I buy off of and they said it has all happened to them.

I opened my e-bay account while in UK. I registered and traded with 2 accounts.
After returning to India, I didn't use those accounts for a while. There was no pending transactions or amounts due on either of the accounts.

Recently (2 months ago) I wanted to re-instate the accounts. I exchanged a million emails (because e-bay doesn't give you numbers to call) from a million customer service representatives (it's always a new person who replies to your email where you end up explaining everything all over again as if this is the sole purpose of your existence).

After two months of mental stress, agony and harassment I posted all my documents to eBay office. I provided them with all proof (my PP, driver's license, credit card statement) along with a zillion forms filled and signed by me. I didn't have to do this to even get a Platinum credit card. After all this proving of credibility, guess what?

Both my accounts are still suspended (for no apparent reason absolutely) and I am unable to access them. I am getting this resolved as a matter of principle and the moment both my accounts are functional, I am going to delete both my log ids and go straight to the consumer court and newspapers.

I won't take this lying down. Anybody ready to sign petitions against eBay, please get in touch with me on my email.

Every individual I know and every individual that individual knows and every individual that individual knows and every individual that individual knows and every individual that individual knows will hear about this.

I really want to see this @#!#$#$%@$%@$%%^%$^&^&^&^ eBay out of business, I mean it. I am raging with so much anger, it’s hard to put it into words, but I have tried.

ebay and Paypal are the biggest evil empire online.

Now their corrupt empire is crumbling and users are leaving ebay by the tens of thousands per week. These users are fed up with fraud (which ebay does little to prevent), excessive seller fees and paypal fees, a total lack of buyer protection, and constant aggravating ebay site changes and policy changes.

The latest nail in ebay's coffin is their new dictatorial, monopolistic policy that anyone buying anything on ebay is now REQUIRED to use the demonic ebay-owned Paypal to pay for the item. This is downright fascism and is in direct violation of several Federal laws. They attempted this same illegal activity in Australia and were stopped by the government there.

I urge everyone to boycott eVILbay immediately.
Their ship of corruption and greed is sinking fast!

After buying and selling with eBay... (and PayPal) for six years, I now have to cut ties. They have forgotten the countless people who made them what they are today. They have grown into a towering monster that will consume your profits and offer little protection for buyers or sellers! Where you once had freedom... to describe the item you were selling in as many or little words as you deemed appropriate, they now have policies to limit you. I had two listings pulled because eBay thought I went into too much detail explaining what the items worked and did not work with. I always try to describe the item so the reader/buyer knows what he is bidding on. Apparently, eBay doesn't like this approach. Problem is.... I really doubt any of them at eBay knew what I was selling either, because they lack the technical skills needed to understand complexities! What they have come to understand is how to take your money by forcing you to get paid through PayPal. They take your money before you sell something, while your selling something and after you sell something... Those Greedy, Brutal, money-hungry thugs!

They have gone overboard to accomadate buyers. They are totally screwing sellers. They no longer allow sellers to leave negative feedback. They only allow sellers to accept Paypal( a company they own). And they have jacked the fees and commission rates out the roof. I used to be a huge advocate for them, now I hate them and wish they would FLOP!

What good is E bay's feedback system if you can only leave good feedback.....or at least without dealing with the A holes. If someone is selling junk EVERYONE should be made aware via the feedback system.
I bought a bottle of Chanel no.5 and it turned out to be a sample and said
"sample not for sale" on it. Ebay should really regulate these people or let the buyers do it!!!!!!

I give ebay not only a negative but also 4 1s for their DSR ratings.

What a mess of a place to try to do business. Change this in your listings, change that, oh wait we haven't given you the tools to change your 1200 listings without hand editing them yet, so just get started on changing these items by hand. Nevermind that we haven't added the options to the sell your item page that we've asked you to change. Just check back every day to see if we have our s**t together yet. And as a reward we are lowering fees but somehow charging you more and asking you to thank us for the priveledge to be charged more. Oh, and by the way, please educate buyers about the new DSR ratings for us. We're telling them that 4 stars is a "good" rating but we'll suspend your account if everyone thinks your just good and gives you all 4 stars.

Tired of jumping through your hoops for less money and more rules and restrictions. Making my way to the door now. Just cleaning up a little and preparing a new place and this "good" seller who doesn't seem to be "good" enough for you will be finding a new home.

I just got off the phone with an ebay droid and he was bullshitting me about how the BUYERS make more money for them than the sellers! Really? I believe it is ONLY the sellers that pay their excessive fees, NOT the buyers. Plus he would not remove 2 negative feedbacks I received from a buyer that NEVER paid for the items, yet left me neg. feedback. AMAZING! Basically the buyers can get away with anything now, and the sellers are at the mercy of them. Ebay is full of SHIT and they know it. They try to tell you how these new rules are so much better for you (yah, if you're a buyer)when in actuality it is all for the benefit of ebay. As long as they get their fees/money, that is all they care about. I suggest that we pick a date when all of the disgruntled sellers end their auctions and then we'll see how happy ebay is when their is nothing to buy for their precious buyers. This company has gone downhill so fast, and their customer service sucks and they deserve to crash and burn. I will NEVER sell on ebay again. I am done with them.

EBAY SUCKS!!! I am a power seller. I work my ass off to make a living on your site and pay $2000 a month in fees. In the past two weeks I have received negative feedback from two of YOUR buyers who did not pay for their items!!! When I filed an unpaid item dispute they realized they were going to get a strike so they paid for the items then left negative feedbacks because I filed the disputes. Then they wrote "Sorry did not mean to leave negative feedback" under their feedback. One seems to have removed the strike the other won't answer e-mails and only has ten days to do it. Either way, the strikes still show up on my account. Thanks to you ebay and your NEW FEEDBACK RULES I have NO RECOURSE!! No wonder Meg Whitman left your f'ing company. I hope you crash and burn. It will be a great day for me. You MONOPOLIZE the auction internet and we are all aware that you have LAWYERS up the you know what. You need them. There will be a day where you will regret f'ing your sellers. I will have a big party.

cos they don't charge to list your items.
this makes them a great ebay alternate as ebays fees grow and grow.

why sell on ebay for ££££ when you can sell on getsetbid for free??

and its not finished there getsetbid are giving £10 free selling credit away if you join before 31st march.

and they promise they wont suspend a user for a mistake or for selling 2 much.

let's dump ebay and join a auction site that cares about there members.

I am egerly waiting to hear that Ebay is going out of business. They have made my life a living hell. First they suspended my account so selling Baby Einstiens DVD's, The said that it was because of trademark violations. However, each time the removed the listing, it was always eligible to be relist, so that's what I did, relisted it. Finally the suspended my account indefinatly. My mom opened an account for me in her name, they then suspended her account also, and then paypal put both accounts on limitations, with all monies that I earned. They are saying that it might take 180 days, before I can gain access to all funds. My question is what if it was their pay checks being held for 180 days. I sort out legal advice, but they said that all I can do is wait, and call them to release my monies. No one with sense works for paypal, or Ebay. They make me want to go back into the work field. This shit was suppose to be easy, but it turned out to be a huge headache. FUCK EBAY. STAY AWAY.

I just recently sold a 1000 lb piece of high tech equipment on ebay and left the shipping out of the auction add because it had to be crated and quoted! Ebay or the customer used the ebay freight shipping calculator and quoted the freight shipping to be $417.00! The absolute bottom line shipping quote we could get was just under $700.00 which doe not include prep and handling! When we confronted ebay with this explaining to them that it was impossible for any company in the USA to ship for that price! ebay then went and checked great rates which they use as a reference and said the quote was correct! We went to great rates and were told it would be close to $700.00! We asked them to call great rates to validate our position and they declined! We also asked how they calculated the packing and crating required to send a delicate piece of test equipment into the price! Guess what no answer to that one either! The conversation ended that it was our fault period! And if you are an experienced ebayer you will find that (ITS ALWAYS THE SELLERS FAULT!) So sellers beware that ebay is low balling freight quotes by almost 50% without including crating or prep! And sellers if you think your getting screwed now, wait till you see the new changes coming in June 2009! After ten year of dealing with this torture were hanging it up with ebay! It will be impossible to meet the new seller conditions period! We have started our own Industrial Electronic Auction site known as www.ttradex.com were the seller is king and fair play is thw rule of the day!

I HATE Ebay. I swear even if you are a good seller they treat you like crap if one person goes off the looney bin and gives you negative feedback-then your whole selling account freezes, you can revise current listings and now you can't even easily contact them! THen on top of that you're pretty much forced to use paypal and then when something sells they HOLD YOUR money until you ship the item (hello, what is the point of charging for shipping???) and won't release the money unless the person on the other end actually leaves you feedback or 21 days pass. I don't think they even have the right to do that. Really the only people that have any rights on ebay are the buyers.

fine, i start my auctions in another webpage (something i have started doing long time ago). Why couldnt they suspend me long before?
why did they have to wait until i offered on sale? why didnt they suspend me while i was bidding and buying? 30min of lost time uploading and writing descriptions....
that how they lose customers (sellers), being arrogant and bullish. time will tell, same as what happened with WaMu, Lehann, Chrysler, Circuit City and many others.
They perfectly know who i am, (paypal knows definitly even more, my Bank Accounts and SSN) i have nothing to do with the other suspended account. we are different persons.

I've discovered that so-called "Powersellers" can do whatever they want, whenever they want. It's an incestuous group over there - one that proliferates bad business that only benefits the scam artist. I have to agree with the poster that if e-bay had a place where you could leave feedback - it would be out of business by now. Also, it's not the place to sell your items. I think I'll just start my own website where I can control when I get paid! That 21 day hold is ridiculous - I had a 100% rating as a buyer, having always paid either right away or within 48 hours. My expensive collectible left my hands (and into a shopowner's) who never left me immediate feedback so I could get paid and then I had to wait 21 days for payment and pay a bunch of fees. Also disputes with PayPal are never in the favor of those not PowerSellers - gross unfair, especially when the item(s) were misrepresented in the description - which is something e-bay/PayPal can check on instantly! I won't be using E-bay anymore other than to help me with my research for selling the things I have. Thanks for posting this! I really needed to get this off of my chest, too!

How do these people ever make it through the day!??? I HATE Ebay because if attracts the worst type of buyer!

I give a negative, I have sold good on Ebay for 8 years and carry a 100% positive feedback but this last year has been horrible, they make change after change and most of the changes only make things worse.
One change is the feedback policy, sellers can not leave neg feedback even on bidders who do not pay or are abusive.
Ebay forces you to use paypal, you can't even accept a money order now, what kind of crap is that?, it should be ilegal, another bad policy is that a sellers family member or friend can not bid on one of his items, they say it is shill bidding, thats bull crap if the guy really wants to buy it.
All of these changes over the last year make me want to find anothe auction site, this new management has made ebay a celiberity site and could give a damn about the people like us who made them successful.

I have sold on ebay for over 8 years, the last couple of years they have made so many un nessary changes it has made me ready to try another route, I vote a negative feedback.
Who ever is running things now has never sold anything in their lives and will eventually ruin the site for most of us, the only sellers who will remain will be the newbies and the big corporations.

A seller has no protection, anyone can give him a negative but he can only give a positive even when a buyer is a no pay bidder.

Ok so heres a few experiences I had on EBAY. I was selling these cheap but vintage plastic toy cars from the late 50's on EBAY. I took about 5 pics of each and put them on one photo, explaining THE car was inexpensive at the time but is now a collectible. I put a minimum bid of $5.00 and free shipping(another scam that EBAY encourages knowing full well there is no such thing but if it's including in the final fee as part of the sale THEY make a percentage in it). So this dumb ass claiming to be a "Christion", yeah, you know the ones, writes me saying I should be shut down for false advertising. She said she didn't recieve the 5 cars as listed, that the car was not 2 inches but only 1. She must have been using her husbands penis for comparison. My ads are very accurate to ensure some douchbag like this hypochristian doesn't get it wrong. The picture of my ad, with the 5 different angles of the toy, she assumed to be 5 of the same cars or so she said. I guess Jesus told her to make a stink. Some other hayseed also bought one of these and then emailed me and said it was a "PICE of junk" PICE??? After letting the idiots know I'd send their money back and that I was disabled and would appreciate if they didn't leave negative feedback, I left them "follow-up" feedback and let them know they should have stayed in school and not to blame their stupidity on others. HEHEHEHE, douchebags trying to get somehting for nothing.

Someone PLEASE help me out here. Give "lesneynut" on ebay a negative. He sells fake toy stuff and lets you know it's a copy, but he BOUGHT 2 items from me at a cost of $100. When I sent them to him I failed to put "delivery confirmation" on them and he was well aware of that and then claimed he never received them. I had no way to prove I sent them, like an idiot. It's almost as though I had an instinct the minute I sent them off I started worrying that this would happen and the asswipe waited 3 weeks before finally letting me know. I told him immediately that I would refund his money but it would be about 3 weeks. I am disabled due to vision loss and I would have to wait until I had more money, which is like NEVER. So, the bithc whined to Paypal who I then paid through my bank account. The asshole got his mney back, so I ended up shafted. Then "lesneynut" left me 2 negative feedbacks on top of that. The idiot has 100 percent feedback rating, as did I until he screwed me. I even told him I was disabled and needed this to get money and to please not give me negatives but the heartless asswipe did it anyway. I know this is asking a lot but someone buy something that he is selling and then give him a negative, just say in the feedback that you "simply not happy with the transaction" and leave it at that. I know, I know, I should wait and let karma get him but I had to wait 14 years for karma to finally get my brother who screwed me and damn I don't know if I'll be around that long !!!!! Thanks.

Can we get a class action suit going against Ebay?? Times have changed since these money grabbing corporate whores started this business years ago and the tide has definitely turned more in favor of those of us who have carried this country around on our backs all these years. The climate is not favorable to those who sit behind their desks, make demands of the "liitle people" making $8 an hour, while they skim off all of the cream that floats to the top. They'll fire you in a heartbeat if you take off too many days while they collect huge compensation packages even if they drive their company into the ground. First off, isn't the statement about "LIVE" help misleading and false ??? Second, not being able to use your credit card DIRECTLY, but having to set up an addtional account, although still using all the major credit cards, just to pay for items in the majority of sales. I think a class action lawsuit could rattle the cages of the scumbags that have ruined this country in the past let's say, 16 years or so. The time is NOW while the tides have turned for the majority of us who love this country and haven't had a fair shake because of corporate greed and corporate/political connections. I'll fix Paypal, I'll call my bank and make sure Paypal does not have access to my account since Ebay suspended me and I know they'll still want listing fees for things they de-listed. If it ain't listed, I ain't payin'. Let them call and send letters. I'll send them a dollar a month and if they bitch I'll go to the government and find a good lawyer and say that Ebay and Paypal are harassing a disabled blind person. These mother fuckers have given me a reason to truly enjoy life again. Someone start a blog that can eventually get all of us disgruntled ebayers together to sue the fucking feedback out of these worthless, heartless, family value-less, morally vacant douchebags. THANKS.

With PAYPAL, you are essentially having to PAY just to use your credit card. ISN'T THIS ILLEGAL ??? Do we pay addtional charges at any other store or website just for using our credit card ??? NO. Buy almost anything on EBAY and you have to PAY TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD, this simply has to be illegal anywhere else. Can someone run this past an attorney who is interested in the working person ???

I'll send the a big congratulation email and then be completely unavailable for any real communication. Here's looking at you EBAY, a big brown shit star with corn and partially chewed peanuts !!!! LOL Hey EBAY, get ready for a class action suit that will embarrass you and make you do business according to the law and not circumvent it like your buds in big business have done for the last bunch of years. Here's looking at you, BLOP BLOP BLOP ahhhhhh----- hehehehe D.

eBay blows for the following reasons, and this is not a complete list...

they are greedy fucks, their listing fees keep going up, yet they are getting stupider by the day.

Since they OWN paypal, they don't want ANYONE paying by ANYTHING but paypal...they claim for protection, what a bunch of bullshit...it's so they make an additional 3% for themselfs...

I hope their ass go bankrupt, just like the state they are located.

E-bay is a crap shoot. It is 50/50 that you will get screwed. Anyone can take a nice picture with a digital camera and dress it up. There is no way to leave negative feedback, and conflict resolution is non-existent.

Ebay Sucks. I used a dropshipper and listed products They pulled all my auctions saying I wasnt an authorized dealer of the item. Then of course creates a big fuxking mess cuz people already bought my items. Why does Ebay encourage you to use drop shippers but then slams you down for selling items? It just dont make sense. Im done with Ebay. I also got away from my main product I was selling and shifted to another thought they wouldnt pull those but wham. wtf they pull em all. My wife says whats the point of selling on ebay if you cant sell? I have no clue. Is Ebid.com owned by ebay. seems like ebay owns everything.

The biggest scam is eBay itself...there is no customer support for the intricate maze that sellers must wind through...it took me an hour to list one item on eBay (every drop down menu reset the previous ones, so my listing was, probably still is, inaccurate), and the fees are outrageous (their percentage is part of shipping and taxes), most times totalling nearly 15% of the sale price! The best thing is to find alternative markets, such as etsy.com, 1000markets.com, amazon.com, propertyroom.com, etc for your specific niche!

I guess when someone at eBay sees this, they'll track my IP address and freeze my account, including my Paypal account...again, and for no reason other than I just don't kiss their ass and say nice things about their online scam!

Check out www.ebaysucks.com for the latest horror story!

Big big negative feedback to ebay, I'm closing my eBay store tomorrow, and it's less than a week old!

How on earth can they get away with charging me 60 cents to list an $11 item and then a FVF of $1.32? Then paypal sucks another percentage (which goes to the assholes in ebay's pockets!). Sellers pay through the nose, buyers scam them and the paypal/ebay cartel stand up for the thieves, holding sellers and their money hostage! Congress is useless!!! Legal thievery online is allowed by the US government?

Ebay now requires sellers to purchase postal insurance for buyers out of their own pocket...no questions asked. If you don't provide it, the seller will leave you negative feedback and Ebay tells you that "buyers can leave appropriate feedback they deem fit."

ABSURD!!! What's next? Free shipping?

Ebay can kiss the buyers' ass all they want, but if it wasn't for sellers, there'd be no buyer.

Donahoe is a fool, the new feedback policy is beging to be abused, buyers minipuulate bid prices and feedback extortion, sellers have no defence and can do nothing. Ebay is doomed, got stock in them better dump it.

I have been on Ebay for 9 years now and I must say Ebay has changed for the worse, it has no concern for the seller, it over charges for insertion fees and if a buyer renigs and you have to refund him they keep your listing fee and commissions paid.

This Donahoe and the other fools who have taken the site over have ruined the lives of thousands of sellers, good and honest people who just wanted to make a living.

It is a fact that with the new feedback rules the no pay bids, attempted price minipulations and feedback extortion have become rampant, sellers are defenceless and ebay knows it, ebay even plays along and the commission money from canceled sales.

After 9 years I have closed my stores and stopped all listings, Ebay and their paypal are no longer safe for sellers, I just use them to buy.

Yes, ebay is a crap shoot, but not just for the buyer, now with the new rules its a 50/50 that a seller will even be paid.

Under this new system, if a bidder bids too high, then changes their mind, all they have to do is pay vival paypal. They then tell the seller to lower the price or, if the seller does not comply they file a "item not as described" and send the item back for a full refund.

The seller in this case has no choice but to go along and get screwed as the buyer can leave negative feedback even though he is the one who committed extortion.

Ebay needs to be stopped and until someone does something, nothing will change. I was a new seller on ebay and yes was restricted and then blocked for no reason. I did receive their canned email basically stating nothing. Still haven't received a response yet and I am actually going to take them to small claims. Paypal is now holding $674 of mine which was $874 but I had to start refunding customers money because they locked my account. Thank you very much Ebay and Paypal for killing my business. There is Upperbid which is for US sellers only and there is also webidz.com which has no listing fees. Check it out and let's put Ebay out of business. To get rid of Paypal there is www.alertpay.com and National Merchant bancard. Everyone get busy and start moving.

I haven't been suspended as of yet, but there's been my great sellers that got suspended for whatever reason, and the other sellers that remain sell counterfeit items.

I try to avoid eBay as much as possible unless that place is the only place to buy that particular item.

The reason why I problably ain't going to do business selling on eBay is because I heard many, many sellers get suspended for whatever reason on eBay.

Believe me, I've lost some sellers I depend on on eBay.

They need to know, without sellers, there would be no market.

I'm afraid that in about 5 years from now, if eBay keeps this up, then that place would be nothing more than a black market with crooks selling drugs and counterfeit items while we have a huge number of innocent people posting up anti-eBay sites.

I do predict that I will be suspended from eBay within 5 years or so (or less).

If that happens, there will be a good video on Youtube on an eBay rant.

Also, I never bid, because there's been people who were suspended for so-called shill-bidding, yet these people were just normal people bidding on the items they want to purchase, thanks to eBay's totally corrupted system.

been on ebay since 2001 and was a successful buyer/seller. in nov-2009 had a yankee from pennsylvania(hambone14) buy a truck from me and then 2-3 weeks later..backed out on the deal. i was sure he was gonna stop his paypal payments(which he did) and told him it would be 60 days before i send him his refund to guarantee he wouldnt reverse the payments any more. once he learned that he went nuke on me and filed numerous bogus fraud and deception statements with ebay/paypal. i sent both ebay/paypal all the papers where we agreed on terms, and they did nothing to protect me. buyers even if they are scammers like my incident, are protected even if they are doing a scam while sellers evern when providing all info, ebay dont give a ratts ass about. i am done permanently with them. i deleted my bank account info and they suspended me! bunch of evil money hungry phukkers!.i hope this forum helps someone in the future make the decision NOT to use ebay and paypal.

E-Bay protects scam artist sellers. They make it almost impossible to provide real feedback. Some of the most blatant rip off artists are their "Top Rated Sellers" Try pointing out that one of them is violating E-Bay policy and see how far you get!

Sold an item on 1-18-2010, last second bidder of course.
Then no payment, no response to emails, wait 5 days, then file no payment received claim with Ebay.
Wait 4 more days then close the case for Ebay to give the buyer an unpaid item strike.
All of this and no response to emails from the buyer and no payment.
The buyer gets an unpaid item strike, but wait!

Ebay removes the strike and he wants to pay me for the item and he is allowed to give me feedback even after two weeks of no contact and no payment.
It gets better... I choose not to sell him the item since I dont have it any longer and I get negative feedback! Which Ebay refuses to remove!

This is outrageous!!!

Love this new policy... sellers are screwed!
I am officially done with Fee Bay
